Find a MAP at this link. St. Mark's is located next to Leedom Elementary School in Ridley Township, about 20 miles from either Center City Philadelphia or Wilmington, DE, just off of I-95. We're one mile northeast of Exit 8 on Chester Pike, and one mile northwest of Exit 9. Look for us next to the school!
Our Mission:
To preach the Gospel to our world and to the Delaware Valley community. We believe that the Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ died on a cross for the sins of the world, that all might be saved through him. Our congregation exists for the sole purpose of proclaiming that message.
Our Congregation:
St. Mark's is a parish of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. For over sixty years her people and pastors have preached the Gospel, baptized into fellowship with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and communed together on the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins. We are currently supporting foreign missions in Liberia, Kyrgyzstan, Siberia, France, and Haiti, as well as local missions in the Philadelphia area through Philadelphia Lutheran Ministries.
Our Pastor:
Pastor Charles St-Onge has served at St. Mark's since graduating from seminary in 2003. He holds Master's degrees in divinity and in science. Charles is married to Deborah and has two daughters. He also serves as the Executive Director of Philadelphia Lutheran Ministries. You can visit his webpage at stonge.intheway.org.
